I have the CTR cams on my turbo gsr. I like the way it runs and it makes decent power, even in the mid range.
You will have to look at the bigger picture and figure out what you want. We don't know what setup you have how much boost your run, what IM you have on. All these factors will change the way your engine makes power and the way it runs.
Do you want more top end, or do you want to rev higher? Then figure out how the CTR/ITR cams will help you. 98ctr

as crazy as it may sound, the best cams for a t25 turbo b16a are the toda spec A's. lol. i know, i couldn't believe it. but anyway, my friend went to the dyno with his 1g b16 hatch, custom t25 kit w/ hks manifold @12psi.. made 240/220... retuned it with ITR cams like 2 weeks later and got similar results. his peak #s were 233/229.. the ITR cams made a big midrange jump, but i think the overlap hurt him on the top since he lost 7 peak hp.
fast forward to last week, and he went back w/ toda spec A cams, same boost level, retuned the hondata and the cam gears and came up with 267/239. now i am not sure if all or some of the power gain was due to the hondata.. but this guy knows his ---- *pretty* well. he said he ended up retarding both the intake and exhaust cams.. and the midrange picked up huge, as well as the top end. i'm gonna have him sign up on this message board, so you guys can ask him questions if you want. i'll let u know when he's on.
