Default internal wg is kinda high

i talked to the guy that sold me the turbo and he old me all of his wastegates are set at 10psi. this is a little bit to high for me to start with. i probably wont have time for a while to get to a dyno to tune, etc, so i was just gonna run a basemap.how would i lower the boost, should i just get a boost controller? im gonna run uber and im not going to be buring my own chips so i feel like im in a rut.

the boost controller wont let you turn down the stock 10psi, only increase it.
you can see if someone will trade you another wg for yours.

post up what kind of turbo it's for and maybe somebody will trade you for an adjustable one. or you could make it adjustable by cutting and threading the rod and adding a threaded piece from the depot. check the FAQ

then if there is a bolt on it (to hold it inplace) just loosen it and twist the rod so that it makes it longer. the bolt might be hard to turn but it does turn. but if you extend it too long you may start to have a lag problem. just play with it and see.
