When the first performace part place opend in town, i went to check it out and thay had just pulled the smallest ------- turbo I'v ever seen, and being compleatley flabergased, I forgot to look for the specs on it..
Im hopen to find one and try it out on my gokart!!

i believe its a 13b turbo...really really small...mite as well go with a tdo4 or td05...its basicaly the same as a td05 on an eclipse or talon..but the turbo dodge colt is a 1.6 liter not 2.0 like the talons/eclipses..exact same setup though...so the 13b came on the turbo dodge colts..a td05 is an easy upgrade for the colt..so i'd say..it wouldn't b worth it to put a car...i own a dodge colt myself..but i have the 2.0 swap...my 2 cents..thanks

I honestly have never seen a turbo colt in my life..

what kind of motors do they run? is it a mitsu motor?

Is the turbo manufactored by mitsu?

Does it have the circular inlet flange like other dsm turbos?

I don't know anything about the turbo, but the motor is a twin cam 1.6 mitsu motor, essentially a smaller version of the 2.0 eclipse turbo motor. They share the same motor mounts so the 2.0 could easily drop into one of those lite weight colt hatchbacks . A couple of years ago there was a featured 2.0 turbo colt hatchback in SCC.

 

yea its basicaly like a type R motor in a civic hatch..bolts rite in...i've done the swap on my 92 dodge colt..they are pretty much like eclipse,lasers,and talons
they have a mitsubishi mirage version also..i've got a 91 fwd 2.0 turbo engine in my colt..rebuilt to stock specs..
the car is a blast..running a stock td05..with 3inch exh.
afc.FMIC.2 1/4in intercooler pipes..stock BOV.walbro pump.
my best so far is a 12.6 at 109mph..ofcourse with slicks..
rite now..i'm in the process of a stroker motor...2.3 or 2.4 litre...but anywayz...the turbo colts come with a 1.6 litre instead of a 2.0...same as said above..

 

i think it is a cool turbo i think its good for a D16a6(crx si motor) seems it would go good with it. definetly not a turbo you would want to make a 12 second car with!
