As soon as I get some time I'm gonna take another crack at it. I'll either use the coat hanger method or cut the actuator arm in half and put a threaded rod in between so I can adjust it to the correct length and not have to worry about it. Are you just supposed to use a regular dye to make the threads in the actuator arm? How do I find what size dye to use if so?

Yeah it was like two bucks but you need a little die holder thingy. The die itself is like the size of a quarter. I think the holder tool was like $8 but if you want you can stop by and borrow mine.

do not take your ac compressor bracket off! It what attaches one of your lower torque mounts to the motor. If you remove it the engine will move all over the place. I know from personal experience. Also I had the same problem with my wastegate actuator. I couldn't ever get it to work right so I said ---- it and welded an external wastegate flange onto my hf manifold and plopped a nice tial 38mm on there .

No, listen to the man he is right, put that bracket back on or your motors gonna fall and your gonna ---- up the timing belt and maybe ---- up the motor. We took that bracket off my friends motor and within a week the motor mount boke. PUT IT BACK ON RUDEBOY!!!!

I have a B18 in my EK and i dont have either of those lower mounts. I just have the two upper mounts and the one rear mount. I have never had a problem but i dont know if your mounts are set up the same.
