Internal wastegate question

Another huge noob question... what do you guys use to hold the bar on the wastegate to the shutter door?

anythin preventing the rod to slide out is good.

garrett way: a c-clip

HMT way: You tie 1" long of soldering wire around the swingvalve pin and jump to the next problem. :P

i use an E-clip, much like a C-clip but easier to instal and remove

you can get an assorted sized pack at the parts store for $1.50
