I was just checking to see if i can use a internal wastegate with a BOV or do i have to convert to a external ,i don't feel like dropping like $200 if i don't have to. Im sure i don't but i just want a second opinion

 

BOV is different from a wastegate...
BOV takes air out of the pipe before the intake manifold, and the wastegate lets out air before it gets through the turbo.

 

i know that i was just wondering cause most turbo setups i seen have a external wastegate with a BOV kinda sent my mind into shock for a few secs. hell if i just ran a BOV what would control the boost then since my BOV hooks up to the vacuum line off my intake manifold
