hey guys a friend just clled and told me he had a turbo lying around for a spare d-series build were doing for a crx with d15b7 he said it s a td05h/14g but that it has an internal wastegate and bov said it's really really tiny anyone have any ideas on what this is

came from a Volvo and it's a mitsu snail. It's small like your left ******** or hell in your case both put together. Has a goofy T3 flange also.

 

is it a decnt turbo? for a small b-series build he only wants $50 i would be happy with 200whp uys just let me knwo any idea or pics could i use a hf manifold for this?

 

That would be small for a sohc. On a b-series don't even bother. Those things are nasty. I had a 850 turbo and they used this turbo. I can't believe Volvo used it on a 2.3, 5 cylinder cause it's sooooo small. Take my word. Yeah if you get it, you'll be like. Damn this thing is hot! Mad spoolage. Hell your car could be turned off and it'll be building boost! lol. Put it in reverse and you'd be pushing it past it's efficiency range. Just find something else bigger. They put these tiny turbo's onto bigger cars for reliability not to be 10 second cars.
