Right, in my first post I mentioned that it'd probably have to be tilted so it wasn't on it's side, wouldn't that work? Not saying it wouldn't be a PITA to mount, but this is hmt.

If you mounted a traditional turbo like that it would ---- up the bearings

I was mistaken and thought that aerocharger used foil bearings. They actually use ball bearings which are self contained. No provision for cooling :1

It just needs more money thrown at it.

Exactly, they didnt last. I dont think their performance was that great anyway.

sidewinder mani's are expensive....yes it solves the problem...but fabbing the mani stops most people.
