Intercooler fitted to my old diesel Toyota
Hello
Newbie here, enjoying the banter and reading all the FAQ threads.
Just thought I'd post up some pics of the intercooler I fitted to the 222,000km diesel in my old Toyota Surf 2.4TD.
It has better torque and has been a really cheap mod (apart from the silicone hoses - but you guys know that anyway)
The hood scoop I fitted was off an old Isuzu truck.
My next project will be copying the complete setup using a T25 turbo and fitting it onto my 2.0l Toyota pick up. Only problem will be getting the carburettor to deliver!!!!!

Appreciate the input - I read and absolutely loved your HMT - get out there, cut things, fit things, test etc etc etc
Actually, I may have been thinking C25 - I think thats what Toys use - not sure though

All advice greatly appreciated. I've just bought a used 2.0l engine for $100. I'm going to use this to do my engineering, then refit the setup into the pick up.
The used engine can also be good for spares and what not.

Thanks for the welcome guys - I'll carry on reading the FAQ's to imrove my limited knowledge.
Here's a pic of me SHITTING A BRICK when I was cutting my hood to fit the scoop - but if you want to fit these things then it comes with the territory.
