Default intercooler and charge pipe idea...

Will flexible metal pipe like this: http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/...&storeId=10101

work as intercooler and charger piping? I really don't give a ---- about looks and I was thinking about using it to go from turbo to intercooler then from intercooler to a section of pipe for the bov.

I thought about that, but it doesn't look like it would flow very well. There is a reason people port and port match everything.

by port match I mean make sure the head and exhaust manifold match up perfectly so nothing messes up airflow. Same thing with intake manifold and pretty much every place air moves going into and out of the engine. You want things to move along as smoothly as possible. The flex pipe doesn't look that smooth. I don't know what rubber pipe you are referring to. I guess if it'll hold the pressure it should work ok. Sounds like it'd be a lot easier to work with.
