I picked up a Forge Unos for my boosted CRX. My wastegate is a Turbonetics evolution with a 7 psi spring before installing the Unos my car would hold a solid 7 psi in 2nd-5th gear.

Now after installed the Unos I set my boost cut to 10.0psi in my S300 and took the car for a ride. First gear the car just spikes way past 10psi so my car goes into boost cut mode.

I tripple checked my connections and the Unos is zeroed out as well. I even took the extra step to clean and lube the Unos but it still spikes.

Any sugguestions on what to do or to try?

 

how did you hook it up?

 

I have the boost feed coming off the compressor outlet/j-pipe from that to the bottom of the Unos then from the side port of the Unos to the side inlet for the wastegate. This was exactly as the directions from forge say to hook it up.

 

use a boost reference at the intake manifold not the turbo compressor housing.

 

Tried that today and ran all new silicone line and it does the same thing.

 

its gotta be a problem with the unos but before you deam it failed try using larger vacuum line
