Default how 2 ELEMINATE boost spike, and is 8.5-9psi spikes dangerous?????

ok, this is my situation, please help me out.
RIght now, it usually hits 7psi or 7.5psi around there.. but before that it spikes fomr 7.5psi to 8psi.. so usually i'll hit 7.8psi or 8psi then goes back down to 7.2 or so....

anyhow, i'm running a small IHI RHB5 turbo on my d16y8.. obviously CFM matters here as much as PSI.. since my turbo is **** small.. it flows less CFM, i'm wondering if i up my boost say to 8psi level, meaning it'll spike up to 8.5 or 9psi...

internal wastegate set at 8psi (but i run the vac signal to compressor housing and psi drops due to intercooler)

is 8.5-9psi dangerous? it usually happens in 3rd/4th around 3200-4000 rpm.. after that it goes down.. and continues to drop my boost anyhow.. (turbo too small)

so is it dangerous? i'm using 450cc with smc 500 and i'm going to dyno tune it.. 12:1 a/f ratio

THE OTHER QUESTION: how the ---- do i eleminate boost spike... if i can eliminate it, i'll be fine running 8psi.... i just really scared about spike to 9..... i dunno...

and does those MBC bleeder style or ball spring controller do anything for boost spike?

HELP! and thanks

my t3/t04e spikes to 12 ps1, and stays around 10-11 and i think that my boost gauge is fucked up so it might even be more.

you should be fine.

yeah just wondering cuz i just want my psi to be at least 6 to 7 at redline... i'm goign to try out the MBC using a grainger valve.. i don't trust the HOMEMADE mbc with cheap springs that change rate when heated or cooled...
