Default I'm having problems holding boost.

Hey guys, i have a mbc set to 8psi,and it hits it for about 4-5.5OOO rpm. but after that i lose about 3 psi, and i run super rich.

my questions are where could i be losing boost?

i have a greddy 15g on a b16a.

my thoughts were get a new actuator?

maybe the charge pipes or intercooler are bad?

wehere else could i be losing boost?

pics here..
thank you.

That turbo probably isnt the problem, I had the exact same problem when I ran with my S/DX exhaust. My cat was stopped up from a few qaurts of oil.

I agree, sounds like there is something leaking. I have a turbo for a SOHC on my B16 too and it runs out of air, but the boost level never drops, I just runout of power on the top end...

Nice looking car.. Check for leaks around the couplers. Use some soap
