I'm bogging down at vtec cross over

I have a fields controller, and its vtec default is 4500.. I kept bogging down so I moved it sooner(3800) just to see what if the problem was with the rpm range or the vtec cross over. It bogged again at the vtec cross over. Anyone got any ideas about it? my A/F sensor never read lean.

too much fuel maybe at vtec crossover?

Your crossover point is to low. remember the car has to go from low cam to high cam...

if its a sohc vtec motor i would go where we have asms at..
4900

if its a dohc
go with 5400...

watch the difference.

it was my charge pipes :-)

But know when I change gears and floor it, the car jerks.
Got any ideas? Also I got a engine check light i figure its the map. Does fields protect agaist the map problem?
