Default ihi RHB5 turbo leakage

Hello, I am in the process of putting together a turbo kit for my 96 civic ex. I have an IHI RHB5 turbo that I bought used and I am trying to figure out if it is good. I put a little oil in the turbo and spun the blade around and it spins good with very little side to side play. I left the turbo there with oil still in it and when I came back some had leaked out into the intake side. Does this mean the turbo needs a rebuild or will this happen with any turbo if you leave oil in it?

What position did you leave it in?

Was it leaning to either side?

I don't know for sure, but I don't think it should leak like that.

Logic makes me think that if it leaks without pressure, it most likely will when you connect the oil feed to the engine.

How much leaked out?...over what period of time?
