Re: idle problem
i just realized that i was talking to you on honda tech and HMT lol :P . in case you didnt see, i just got an iacv from a z6, but i dont know what to do with the iacv that is on the car. if i unplug it, will it run right if i have the other one wired up?

Re: idle problem
plugged the stock ecu in, and it runs perfect . at least now i can pull the charge pipe off and get it tuned! another succesfull hmt setup, ill keep you guys posted.
i think i still will need to put that iacv from the z6 in, but it will help to have it tuned!

Re: idle problem
be very careful running no charge pipe. i personally would have left the wastegat flapper wide open but anyways...
ok so with your stock ecu hooked up it idle'd and drove fine. good. that rules out all your vac lines and coolant lines etc etc..
sooo were back to your iacv just like i told you
the z6 iacv wont' bolt up, you can't use it (i had a z6 one too and found it was junk to me) use the y8 one (weather it was on the tb or the back of the manifold). i'd suggest putting the y8 tb on anyways or you can just run the y7 tb iacv in a loop and that should work as well. then follow that diagram on repinning the ecu and connect the proper 2 wires to the y8 iacv.
