I'm getting ready to order my gauges and I think I want an oil pressure, not oil temp. Oil pressure is more important right, for my turbo. thanks

 

You are correct. Most people will go with an oil press. guage. It's certainly not neccessary, but it could be helpful. If your going to get anything that has to do with temp. I'd try and find an EGT guage. That could also be a useful refference in the future.

 

yes i'm planning on getting an egt gauge, but they are pricey!!

It's not really a reliable source for tuning unless you really know your engine, but after tuning and you get a feel for what your EGT's are supposed to be at, the could be a valuable tool later on.

 

yeah, i know. I'm plannin on getting it tuned the same week i finish putting my hmt in. That is gonna cost some $ too! but in the long run. It will be nice and I'll rest asured that my car is running the way it's suppost to.
