Default I installed walboro 250 fuel pump, air/fuel ratio gauge & boost gauge. CEL on?

I installed walboro 250 fuel pump, air/fuel ratio gauge & boost gauge, short shifter and my check engine light came on after driving for 10 minutes. No boost yet but soon intercooler -only part I'm short on, arrives on tuesday. How come my CEL went on & will it go on again after I have it reset? Thanks in advance.

find out what the code is first. then disconnect the neg terminal for 20 sec to clear the codes. fix whatever problem you have.

well first it depends what car you got, im assumin you got a crx. if you do, this is what you do:

1.pull the carpet back on the passenger side

2.turn the key to the ignition setting

3.look at the ecu shield and there will be a hole. count how many blinks you see through the little hole.

4. go here http://www.prostreetonline.com/pso/p...sp?articleid=4 and check it out

Well I assume you have a USDM vehicle (I don't feel like checking). Your car is OBD2, which means you need to go get the code read, goto a shop and they will rape you for 30-60 bucks, or just goto autozone and they will read it for free. Or buy your own code reader.. I will be adding this type of ---- to the newbie writeup in the future (note to self).

umm, I'm pretty sure you don't need a code reader quadnie, it's not a shitty domestic, what you do need is a paper clip or piece of wire, short the terminals under the dash, and the CEL will start to blink, thats the code, I do not know which terminals to short but I'm sure its on the net somewhere.
