I don't even know where to start

Re: I don't even know where to start
I didn't buy the first turbo...only gave him the second one. Well I figured out why it wasn't boosting...the coupler that connects the turbo to the IC piping wasn't even tightened down and the charge pipe popped out... Since the p28 he got was fried out, and kept flashing out the chips that were made he went with a missing link and FMU for now...gotta take it easy on it though the car is a whole new machine. Going from stock 55hp (i believe) to a .60/.63 turbo port and polished head.
No Idea on psi as there is no gauge, and he doesn't know what the wastegate spring is set at ......He's gotta take it easy for a little while because it has a new F1 stage 3 clutch.
Going autocrossing this weekend in south bend at the tire rack event...anyone going to be there?

Man..You may want to rethink attending the autocross this weekend or running that car atleast....for all you know your boosting 15 psi on stock injectors.
park it until you get it right "tell your friend" It'll be cheaper in the long run just to take a step back learn some patience and get the car straight with a chipped ecu and some tuning or if your gonna go fmu make sure your not boosting more than 6 psi I think thats whats safe for an fmu check the stickies at the top of the page to make sure.
Believe me Ive learned the hard way a few times not with turbo's but with cars in general and dirtbikes don't Take chances and run something you know isn't ready.

I already knew you can only run the stock injectors for about 6-7 psi with an FMU and SYNAPSE, so I told him to take it easy because all the xs power wastegates are usually set to about 10 psi on ebay...
Drove him to one six motorsports the other day and he picked up another p28. It'll be chipped and running some DSM injectors very shortly...with a resistor box.
