how much vacumm should i read at idle

My friends civic at idle is 20 vacumm on the boost guage. My prelude reads about 15. does this mean that my hoses could be getting pinched?

I wouldnt say pinched. They could be leaking though. Check your connections for leaks and throw some zipties on the ends. I read 20-23.

generally every car should idle at about 19 HG of vacuum..

I have everything zip tied. but when i first installed it it wasnt reading any vacumm because it was actually kinked. I guess i will just have to threw and check for kinks of leaks

i wouldnt worry about it unless you get really bad gas millage or something doesn't work right or large gorillaz rape your siblings....
