if u get a d15bvtec, what i have, u can go 10psi and do 190-200whp
If u can find a d15bvtec for cheap get that instead of turboing, trust me its pretty fast(1.5l 130hp VTEC).
Only thing is its impossible to find aftermarket internals for it(they have bigger rods than usdm 1.5l but smaller than d16s)

its got good enough punch to,with turbo, whip the crap out of a d15bvtec n/a
no way i'd go n/a sohc vtec over turbo,
unless I was going to gut my car and get really crazy building up the n/a setup.
thanks for the info though guys,
I think basically I shouldnt be afraid of 10psi,
just that I should wait to do it until I get some dyno tuning done. Or at least dont stay at that level for long.

hell yeah you should be afraid of 10 psi not the right stuff and then boom, grenaded engine my friend... start doing some homework on the HMT site. and just go get a D16z6 it is goning to be alot easier on you mine is a D16z6 and with the right tunning and right parts you can hit higher numders and lower times,,,my friend had a D16z6 and dyno'd at 240 to the wheels stock internals, lighten the car and smoked a corvette C5 (400hp car) ran a 12.6 on drag radial,
so do your homework and you to can eat V8's for lunch
