Default HOW MUCH BOOST CAN I RUN?

hi...
i have a 91 civic with a d15b7 motor.

i have a 14b with a tubular manifold and 2.5 inch exhaust and toyota supra fmic with 2.5 inch piping....and 450cc dsm injectors and apexi.

recently i installed a honda metal hg and arp head studs to really crank it down.

last week i blew the motor bad...i fried the d15b7 pistons.....
so i was on a budget....so i did a little research....
i found d16y8 dished pistons stock bore and i used a d16y8 metal hg and i ended up with a low 8-1 comp. setup PERFECT FOR TURBO SETUP....

is 9 lbs conservitve for this comp or can i turn it up more ... 12 or so? what do u think...?

ahh man with that turbo you could do 30psi easy! but i would not do less than 40psi, thats where its really efficient

The 14b has the new Garrett Balistic Concepts triple ball bearing center section and of course the gargantuan T5 exhaust wheel mated with the 83 trim compressor wheel, so it's very capable contrary to popular belief. Of course that's the JDM 14b, so if yours is USDM or IDM (Icelandic Domestic Market) I wouldn't run it all, but if it's the true JDM 14b then it's easily capable of anywhere as low as 10psi to just shy of 60psi.

At 10psi it'll flow 650cfm which is about 400whp, but with the triple bearing CHRA it'll spool like lightning, so go ahead and run closer to 35-40 because that's the efficiency range which is right around 1250cfm.

Just tell everyone who asks about your car that you have the Mitsubishi Triple Ball Bearing Balistic Concepts JDM Garrett 14b T5/83 Trim Hybrid. They'll know what you mean .

ok i'll stop ------- with you. but you need to post ****.

to be honest 9 seems about right. that is what the wastegate is set at on that turbo and your little motor will handle it just fine. anything after that yous pushing it
