I was loving the write up until i saw the finished product... <<< Tries not to laugh as Kevin Installs the turbo and makes a nice Gash in the Radiator... Lol, jk Kevin, Good work, im sure you know where your compressor is facing

I pulled my thunderbird turbo and took the flanged pipe deal that came stock on it. It looks similar to the thing you made. It was really long, so I chopped it down to the flange and left 2-3 inches of pipe on it. I dremeled a little lip in it and am planning on running a reducer to it. Good work for the guys that didn't grab that outlet pipe, though.

ProjectTeg, you're my HERO! I was about to ask what kinda flange that was. I have the same turbo. Does the downpipe side use the standard t3 5-bolt? Lolz... I might buy my flanges from SSAuto cuz they have a package for the WG and DP flanges. Know of any cheaper places? Thanks again!

raffi: unfortunately the ground is my work bench, i'm only allowed to put parts on teh washer/dryer for pics
i got in trouble for welding on the dryer once :P
