How to lower boost (page not up)
I just want to know how you lower boost because the link in FAQ is down. I have an internal wastegate, the 13g auto dsm turbo and Ive heard that you just bend it in the wastegate arm actuator, I guess its obvious but how far should I bend it in to get about 6 psi, thanks :o

You just have to lenqthen the arm.

How? All I heard was that pushing the actuator in towards it would lower the boost,, if so you got any pics of how to do it

Re: How to lower boost (page not up)
so basically the metal stick or line running to the wastegate, cutting it or whatever, but wouldnt bending it in be easier to do?

Re: How to lower boost (page not up)
ok , i get the shortening of the actuator arm part (metal line), but when you do that, if you make it shorter does that make less boost and when you lengthen it does it give more boost
more length= more boost less length= less boost ............................???? actuator-------------extended-----------wastegate actuator----shortened----wastegate -------------------- is this what i want for lower boost |
Re: How to lower boost (page not up)
im pretty sure lengthening the wastegate arm lowers boost

Re: How to lower boost (page not up)
Longer = less
shorter = more bend = shorter = more |
Re: How to lower boost (page not up)
when you lengthen the actuator arm, you arm lowering the wastegate, ie, it will open at a lower psi
