^ i did read that already, thanks though. It didn't help at all becasue my housing doesn't have the simple bolts that allow you to rotate it, i rotated my old turbo just fine using the same method in that DIY but I just don't understand why this new one won't rotate. Here's pictures to show you that the whole thing is loose, i just can't find a way to spin it:

Re: How do you rotate the center section on a 14b?
There was a pin and a hole you use to line them up.. at one point in time. I just cut the pin off so I could rotate it.

Re: How do you rotate the center section on a 14b?
Get old bucket of used oil. Dump turbo in bucket for a couple days. Been working since day one. And if you have old oil around its FREE

He's a bitch. That little tiny dick pin and oil crud is holding it together. PB blaster and a hammer then knock that little pin off.

Re: How do you rotate the center section on a 14b?
yeah i really apologize for even posting this, i was searchign for the wrong thing and then put it specifically "rotating 14b" and found like 5 threads about rotating a 14b, sorry guys. And yeah taking the cold side off would help alot, i just didn't have a 12-point socket to get teh wastegate actuator off, but it's actually off now and i found the pin. I'll get it out of there, rotate the center section and re-install it. Thanks guys
