you could also bend the mounting bractet back towards theexhaust hounsing.

NOTE:after thinkin about it theres no way to shim it backwards!!!



by putting washer behind the acuator itself you would raise the boost not lower it

there is no reason you should be detonating @ 7psi especially if you have a wideband to tune with. i think you need to re-evaluate everything timing related

 

^ Yeah for real... turning down the boost has nothing to do with reliability. Good tuning = reliability and with a stand alone, you shouldn't be having a problem.

Get your ---- tuned.

 

Thanks guys - it really was the tuning, but it took me for freaking ever to figure this one out.

I'm using Megasquirt'n'Spark-extra as the standalone, the software has a hard fuel cut at a specified level of boost - it was preset to 7 psi - I didn't even know it had this feature, I just chanced upon it. I set it to 11 psi, upped the boost to 10 psi and now my little stormtroooper is haulin' ***.

you can shim it backwards by putting the washers on the side near the compressor, by shortening the arm u would be lowering it not raising it. your a dumbass =x use your head and be creative bitch =x
