I wouldn't suggest doing that. Metal shavings will go everywhere inside the pan and metal shavings are not nice to internals.

All of the bolts are 10mm and are all around the oil pan. I'll take some pics tommorrow if you still can't get it.

take off the engine stablizers and the dust shield for the stupid flywheel... for my engine that's what i have to do or else can't open the pan..

pan is fun and easy, JUST DON'T USE THE WRONG GASKET MAKER SILICONE ----...............

i used the permatex #2 which is some ---- that doesn't harden.. WRONG, BIG MISTAKE.. goo everywhere.. took 3 hours to clean it up...

went and bought the permatex RTV copper sealant.. works great! no leaks

AND I GOT NO AXLE TRANS LEAKS!!! yeah!!

it must leak when you install the axles at first and then they seal.. that's my theory.
