Default 14b+b18b=?

has anyone used this setup? is the turbo big enough for this engine?

too big its a really small turbo. the Ls has good low end power get a larger turbo to get more higher rpm power outt that motor.
I have ran the 14B on my old car spooled very fast - too fast and traction became a big problem with only 7psi.
It died off about 6500 too. get a nice T3 on there......Go BIG or go home, lol :P

anyone else? ive heard they hold psi till redline 7000rpm+

i've read that turbo is capable of producing up to near 20 psi with an external wastegate...and it's easy to upgrade to a 14 or 16G, that's what I'm fixin' to do...

That turbo will do just fine. If you check compressor maps, you'll see this. It'll spool up quick, yes, but will also give top end power (though not as much as a T3/4). You don't necessarily need higher top end power as you won't be reving as high as a vtec motor. You'll have a real "torquey" setup. But if you want a really fast drag setup, go bigger.
