so if i went the set screw method, do i screw it in the turbo itself or in a fitting, because i will just drill the setscrew that cam with my oil line kit.

I think its all personal preference, I put mine in the turbo, but that leave no way of monitoring pressure. so its up to you.

yeah but do i need to get a adapter and thread it into that or can i thread it in just the turbo, im just worried it will rattle loose and fall in the bearing housing.

Damm this thread is still going?? I ended up getting a stealthmode restrictor. Thing works great. Just wanted to mention that. I know when I had this last project going the last thing I wanted to play with was a HM Restrictor. my 2 cents yo!

the hole in the turbo is tapered, atleast in the sc61 so the fitting will stop turning, it only can come out in one direction.

What i don't understand is that you can use brake line as a oil feed line...well why don't they make a oil restrictor that will thread into the turbo thand the brake line will thread into the restrictor. I am just going to use my brake line and run a tap through it and than use a set screw and drill it out...sounds like the best idea...

Don;t use regular brake line unless you clamp it to the motor in a few spots so that it has no movement. If it can wiggle any it will crack. Don't ask how I know. At the very least pack a fire extinguisher with you.
