Re: Homemade oil restrictor writeup
All you guys have great input on how to restrict the oil pressure! I've been thinking of ideas but never really put much effort into it. Great job guys! :6

Re: Homemade oil restrictor writeup
I like it. Not something I would use but oil restrictors are a must these days for most turbos.

Re: Homemade oil restrictor writeup
I set screw is the first thing that came to my mind but I did not have any big enough ones that would fit. either way if it works its good. I should have though about this 3 turbos ago.

Keep posting your restrictor setups beotches!

Re: Homemade oil restrictor writeup
What sort of PSI range are you shooting for going to the turbo?
|
Re: Homemade oil restrictor writeup
30-35
whatever does not blow my seals and still keep the turbo lubed. obviously the way this restrictor is installed its impossible to check the pressure |
Re: Homemade oil restrictor writeup
Could you not put the restrictor inline with a gauge after it to know the pressure?
