Default Homemade/Junk Yard Turbo on a Jeep?

I've got a 93 Grand Cherokee with a V8 (5.2L) that is both my DD and off road truck.
Want to get a little more of a kick in the pants with it so I'm thinking a correctly sized budget turbo should do the trick.

Did some searching around here but most of the info relates to 4cyl so it doesn't help me much with my motor.
Basically what I'm looking for it something that will spool up fairly quick and give me some room for expansion later on down the road. Motor will be staying internally stock for now.
What kind of numbers am I looking for? Well stock is 220hp at the crank so 300 crank? Hell 300 at the wheels would make me happy as hell.
