Default holset turbos

is the h1d holset turbo a good turbo,, my plans are 250 to 350 hp on a toyota 3tc eng i heard that the h1d is like a t3 or a little bit bigger

you should use the serch function it should be directly in the middle of your screen almost all the way up top ... an t3 is just a bolt flange

really I thought it was a frame size for garrett turbo's. guess I must be smoking crack

oh sorry, an answer to your question 3tstarlet is it depends what size the turbine housing is on that turbo they offered it from 12cm on up. if its higher than a 12cm then i'd sell it on ebay or something. starlets are pretty cool. you should check out randys little monster. www.eville140.com he's using a holset hy35w which comes with a 9cm housing a much better choice.

so if is 16 cm is no good what about the h1c cause a lot of honda and dsm guys run the h1c can you tell why 12cm or higer is no good

well you can get away with 12cm but it will be laaaagy. 12cm is .84 a/r wich is pretty big. if your going to be using the car as a strip only car and hit it with nitrous then you should be ok. if its a street car stick with the 9cm. larger the a/r the less backpressure wich is good for hp but you sacrifice with lag.
