Default HMT 2001+ Civic... Anybody done it yet?

If so, can you use a hf manifold and does the afc/450cc injector hack work? or do you just have to go fmu?

Errr, what engine is in that civic? AFC hack and 450's will work. Your OBD2 so you'll have to find a wiring diagram on the Apexi site or something simillar, but it will work fine. Give us some more info on what engine is in this civic and we'll be able to help out more.

well the engine is a d17, but keep in mind it has a return-less fuel system... btw, the car is a friend of mines... I know that the afc is compatible for a fact, but will I be able to run it the way we do on 2000 down hondas, meaning no check valves??

as long as it has a map sensor the hack will work.check and see if 450s will fit the rail.he might need to chane out the injector connectors though.the returnless system makes it so you cant use an fmu...but why would you want that anny ways.

Thats right, you'll probably end up having to swap injector plugs and use a resistor box, but thats no big deal. I've got a 2000 integra that I ended up converting to OBD1 for. It allows me more tuneability (mainly ecu).
