get the HKS!!!!!!! the eclipse 2nd gen BOV is pretty cheap and it has a nice sound and it will never sputter but the HKS SSBV wont sputter as long as you have the right vacumm source hooked up to it, when i first put my turbo on i had a turbo xs BOV, not the really loud one but the real cheap one and it sounded like ---- and sputtered , the eclipse one was cool but it wasent loud enough, i got the HKS and it sputtered at first but then i moved it to different vacuum sources and now it doesnt sputter at all, also what i like about it the most is that when your driving like good citizens should then the BOV puts off a very audable WHOOSH sound and then when you spool your turbo past 5 PSI its starts to become a loud churp and then by 6 PSi its extremley lud, when you drive by people in the summertime and they have there windows down and there elbows sticking out you can let off the BOV and it scares the living ----, also it makes your car sound alot more powerful than it is because its such an agressive sound.

From my experience here is my input.
HKS SSQ/Greddy Type S = sound pretty close, but the HKS seems to have more of a whistle to it.
1G DSM = straightforward whoosh of air..pretty loud above 7 psi.
turbo XS RFL - like the name implies, really ------- loud. It gets old quick IMO.
Blitz BOV = Very mechanical sounding whoosh of air with a sight whistle at higher boost, but not high pitched like the greddy or HKS. It sounds like a lot of air going through a little hole. Decently loud.
