And to the originator of this post.. do you realize that 5 psi on one turbo could be the same flow as 15 psi on another, potentially exposing your turbo to the same "damage" taht you already fear >:D Just do it, pansy. |

The only reason I wouldn't want to run more boost on my motor with a smaller turbo is the chance of detonation and diminishing returns as the boost goes up.
Pump gas typically isn't very friendly with small turbos and high boost. |

You can run dual scroll like a normal turbo with unpaired cylinders. |
