try a new vac source and loosen the nut on top....if it still doesn't open up then take out the smaller sping from inside

 

hey nordap im just curious if u have any pics that could help out for either of those two places either the pcv or the canister. I am just kind of confused I had planned on attaching all of mine to the fpr

I t'd off the FPR and my Type S worked fine, it sounds like it may be too tight. Try loosening the upper nut, back the stud out a little, and then lock the nut back down.
