Default here's my little turbo project, plus a few questions

its a 93 cx hatch. the entire setup was paid for through parts selling from my other hatch lol.

b18a1/cable trans = $free
used greddy turbo w/dp = $200
ebay intercooler w/pipes = $190
ebay type-s = $25
greddy blue box = $35
triple gauges w/pillar = $120
ebay engine mounts = $75

so basically I've got around $570 in it to get it up and running. I took it out today for a quick spin and it hits 4psi but I have no clue what my air/fuel ratio is as the gauge isnt working for some reason lol. Also gotta dial in the bov as it's not opening right now.

here's the question right now. I got a no-name engine mount set off ebay for the car and I cant close the hood completely on the driver side as a result of the engine sitting up a bit due to the driver side mount. any ideas on how to remedy this??

I was wondering if I could just get a few thick washers and use them as spacers between the block mount and engine mount but I dont know if this is safe or not??

might throw your axle alignment out, but try it, that was my first thought when i looked at it, drive it a little slowly to see if there are any issues with the axles binding

oh yeah, I'm also trying to think of what to do with that rubber grommet hole in the back middle of the valve cover? I also dont have the valve cover vent opening going to anything either haha. I know if I dont think of something to do with these I'm gonna end up with oil everywhere.

My hood closes fine and I have an LS/Vtec in a 95 hatch. Washers won't mess up your "axle alignment", your engine should already clear the hood. Its not sitting correctly now, washers will only help the situation.

yeah, when I had this engine in my other hatch, I had a stock driver side mount on it and it cleared fine so I'm thinking I'll look for another stock replacement mount....hate that I sold that one now haha.
