you can also shim your hood up at the rear , this allows more air to flow threw the intercooler and radiator any way. many of us do this mod even when our hood fit fine. for you it might benifit more ways then 1. just put some washers or plastic bushings between the hinge and hood.

oh also guys, my air/fuel gauge isnt working correctly. I've got a 4 wire o2 sensor and I know both of the white wires are probably grounds correct??
which wire (black or the grey one) is supposed to the signal feed??
or is it actually one of the white wires??

hell, this IS the stock replacement sensor lol. I thought they were narrowband....
I thought they had a ecu signal w/ground and heater w/ground....
thats the way it was on my 98 civic at least.

What did you do to use the cable tranny in your hydro car?
Edit: And why are you using ebay engine mounts? The only one that you might need to be aftermarket is the tranny mount because it is a cable tranny. The stock engine mounts should be fine to use, and then you won't have your hood clearance issues

Re: here's my little turbo project, plus a few questions
yeah, I needed a driver side and passenger side mount so I just bought the set of three and replaced the rear mount since the original rubber was cracking in it. That and the kit also came with a hydro/cable actuator set too.
This engine was in my 93 dx before the cx and that car was an automatic that I had to have innovative make a custom mount for me for the cable tranny.
In that car I kept it completely cable and drilled a hole in the firewall and modified a civic clutch pedal using integra pedal pieces to actuate the cable. It worked pretty good but I never finished the welding so I would have to replace the clutch cable about once a year as I would wear through it haha.
but the cx shell I bought was already manual and still had the pedal setup with all the lines and I had a slave cylinder so I went the better route and converted the cable tranny to use the hydro components using the kit that came with the engine mount setup.
I actually sold my other mount setup which consisted of the custom mount and the stock teg mounts to pay for the ebay mount set as well as my gauges lol.
