Help! no boost to low boost only.......
There was a thread on this already, but the guy that post it never post what his fix was......
I have no boost until it hits 3-5 gear and when it boost its only boosting 2-4psi, where normally boost 8-10 psi. I have check for leaks. Try different bov and boost gauge. I even try a different boost gauge line just to make sure the line is not pinch. I was using a manual boost controller and have eliminate it to see if that was the problem, but it's not........I can hear the turbo spins and the BOV blows loud. ...
Is it possible for the wastegate to go bad?

The wastegate could be it but its doubtful. Make sure to check all the pipe connectors. Small cracks can be very hard to see and may only expand when under pressure. This happened to me and I had the exact same symptoms as you do and it was caused by a small centimeter crack on the bottom side of one of my couplings.
