About how much is your junkyard turbo kit going to cost you? You know that there are some places now selling the Greddy turbo kit for around 1200 dollars. Just search around. I suggest that you save some more money in order to have enough for a good fuel management system. With the VAFC hack I blew my piston rings and fucked up my motor. I just had it rebuilt, tuned with the hondata and pushing 15psi. Do it right the first time and you won't have any headaches. Remember, what you pay for is what you get. You can have:

Fast, but not cheap.
Cheap, but not reliable
Reliable, but not fast.

You choose which one you want.

 

one other thing to worie about that y8 head with the a6 block is going to give u compression like 10.8:1 thats still boostable but it gives u a smaller margine for error,and hondata may be pricey but i hear its like running a factory turboed car
