help me on my build plz?
so im rebuilding my d15b2 and most likely converting to mpfi, gonna boost it on stock internals and then arp studs. i would like to have an idea of wat turbo would be good for my lil motor, i was thinkn the 14b eclipse turbo, or the thunderbird stock turbo, not sure of the numbers? im lookin to get around 170-210 hp,so plz shoot me some suggestions, anything helpful, and i really also need to know wat tune i should go with? im definately workin with a budget here. i know everyone isnt up for the "fmu" but i was thinkin since im only gonna be runing 8 or 9psi then it would be suitable? plz help me out in any way possible. and as for fuel wise? wat will HAVE to upgrade? and wat can i get by with having stock?

go with a t25 or a t28. fmu's are garbage and are not considered a tune. you will just waste fuel and lose power by exponentially raising fuel pressure with boost. there are many tuning options for honda's. if your going to skimp on something, make sure its not the tune. with low boost there is no major fuel system modification needed. all you need is larger injectors, a 1:1 boost reference fuel pressure regulator and a tune.

i wanna start boostin at around 2000 to 2500? so i can still cruise the highway and not be in boost all the time , would this still be a good turbo choice? and ill have to convert to obd1 to get chipped =( or is there any chipped options for the 0bd0? i havnt seen any

both turbos will boost low. go with the t28 so you wont have to upgrade in the future because you know you will. unlike superchargers, turbos do not create boost unless there is an engine load so cruising on the highway will not produce boost. your obd1 ecm will need to be chipped so that it can be reflashed many times over. my friend did it to his 94 accord with hondata and a local tuner did all the tuning.

alright sounds good man, thank you, and i gotta figure something out about tunning? does anyone know if anything can be done with the obd0 ecu? if its possible to tune it? that would be amazing so i dont have to convert to obd1

honestly keep the stock electronics and do an alky setup. A lot less hassle and most likely cheaper. The thing about OBD0 and OBD1 is that you can trick the electronics. Honestly yes a T28 would do well for you and Turbos work off of vacuum so highway cruising you wont be in boost unless you gas it.

you will not make boost till 3800 ish i had both t25, 14b and t-bird set ups they all make boost around the same time and all make around the same power. so which ever one you can get for cheaper go with
