help indentify garrett turbo???
Hey everyone I just got a garrett turbo off of a saab. I think it was the 9000 series and the car was prolly like a 88 or 89 somewere around there. Anyone know what turbo comes off of these? Like the type?(I think it might be a t-3) I got a pretty good deal like 40 bucks for it and the downpipe. Theres really little shaft play no cracks and spins really nicely. There is alot of oil on it though. Well any help will help. Thanks!
well i know its a t-3 because it has the rectangular flange with 4 bolt holes. But imprinted on its say 42 a/r. do yall think that will spool up to fast for my d16z6 or you think it will work good with my car? Well thanks for the help.
(Also anyone know the exact code for this turbo) more specific than just garrett t-3 ( Also anyone know what the wastegate is set at for this turbo, well any info is good) Thanks everyone and sorry for asking so many questions just need the info.

I "think" its set at 10psi, but it has an adjustable wastegate anyway.
Its actully kinda small, but should be great on a D16Z6.
I was told its a 45-trim and the compressor A/R is .48. If you can deal with a little more lag, you can buy a .63 exhuast housing for it that will up its top end power a lot.
Its bigger than my TD04L-13G wrx turbo and smaller than my Ford "Turbo coupe" Garrett T3 W/ 60-trim .60 A/R compressor and .63 A/R Exhuast. I took one pic of them all next to each other, but I have no clue when the film is going to be developed = no pic...
