Help! Code 13 with AFC hack?
This is what I have on my stock D16Y8 VAFC hacked:
-TDO4
-FMIC
-turboXS MBC @ 8psi
-Stock FPR
-Stock fuel pump
-Nology wires
-NGK 7 series plugs
-Timing NOT retarded
My hack is set at: 1-4K =-40% and above 4K =-37%. A MIL code 13 (barometric pressure low/high input) would pop up regardless of the RPM besides idle. I was told that the MAP and Barometric sensor is the same sensor with different parameter output. If this is the case, then this code 13 must be affecting my fuel management which I'm not comfortable of. The question is, can I reconfigure my VAFC set-up to get rid of this code? Thanks for your input.

oh..the resistor box..ehh...it is a magical device that gives an instant 75 HP..as seen on TV!..it just changes the voltage so you can run DSM injectors..thats about it. you run your injector power wires thru it..i guess you could polish it if you want to..hee he
