you cna not just "see" the ball bearing.
Have you ever try to spin a fan blade? Thats how it should spin, it spins, then slowly, smoothly slow down to a complete stop. if it just spin and stop it is not BB or may be a bad/china turbo LOL seriously all those china BB turbo spins like a regular sleeve bearing turbo does, just spin then stop.
