Default Help

Ok for one I rebuilt my 14b last night. What a pain in the *** but I did it in less that 3 hours. I feel good about that. Now I want a needle valve but no one has a good place to find one. Also I need a pro for this question at idle what is the lowest safe oil pressure. My S-10 when cold at idle has 80 psi and warm its about 30 at idle. I would like to make sure the smoke is gone. Also how do I get a filter on this thing without 2 reducers and some fun engineering.

try ace hardware if you have one in your area. also you can try the fittings sections at lowes or home depot. you'll probably only be able to get a needle valve from a self piercing icemaker kit which is 1/8 inch npt, but should work as a reducer for oil feed if that's what you're looking for.

as for filters k&n makes filters for all sort of applications in different sizes and inlet sizes. i got a filter for itb and it has like a 2 inch inlet and the filter is like 3-4 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. i got mine from barnett performance in atlanta.

I don't think your going to need a needle valve with 30psi at idle... you should be fine.
