i hit 6k max on purpose(i bounced the 7k rev limiter once on accident with wet ground). i usually shift at 5500

it seems that most people just get them within one gram, but if your scale shows 1/10ths i would get them within that. why half *** it when it only takes a few min. and for what you are reving those pistons are more than balanced. i would still get them within 1/10th but thats just me

well...finally new progress
got the old pistons out and the new pistons balanced. got them all balanced to within .1g of each other, so that should be nice. anyways...heres some pics








i also got most of the cylinder wall scuffing honed out of there. so yea...progress

fortunately I'm working in my buddy's garage, so its nice and warm in there.

thanks man...it is a fun ride, and i get to toast all of these chipped diesel trucks that we have here in havre montana. eventually more boost will be in order. i need more tunability first though. i want to get this back together, run about 12 psi, then do some MS. then its game on...

well got the bottom end put together...i would have gotten the head put on it, but i cant figure out where i put my head bolts.
