HD couplers

Re: HD couplers
They're stupid. Look... Just find some EPDM hose and buy afew feet of it. It'll hold 60psi+, an assload of vacuum, WILL NOT burn up, WILL NOT give up, and is NOT appreciably damaged if left hitting, or vibrating something with a sharp edge.
It's like half EDPM rubber, and half plastic. I made a post about it forever ago.
Plus I know from an assload of personal experiance if the flanges on your turbo, etc are in good shape, it'll hold atleast 20psi with no hose clamp at all.
EDPM for the mother ------- WIN.

or use suction hose from a place like princess auto.... i think you can get it at pool supply shops too
it works like a ------ champ, basically same whit as the stuff above, except the rubber part is clear and the plastic part is white

Re: HD couplers
I'm fairly sure with 2.5" exhaust tubing you use 2.0" couplers from HD. Anyway, HD couplers suck. Post intercooler you can get away with them, but pre intercooler, they get really soft and blow off entirely too easily. Personally I've had positive experience with simple worm clamps and Nitrile tubing from McMaster Carr at lower psi (sub 15psi). The stuff melts a little bit on the inside and makes it very sticky. Silicone doesn't tend to do this. I think it's around $30 for 3'. I'm sure the part number is somewhere in a FAQ or something.
