I bought this BOV and it sucks. You can't even hear it.

 

for that money get a 1g dsm bov... works great and sounds good

 

My 1st Gen DSM was $17 out the door.

 

i had that exact same one. it gave compressor surge and it sucked. ended up buying another one cause the top in that one was loose and the piston and spring flew out onto the road.

 

1g bov is the shitz for the money . Sounds good and functions really well

 

I put one on a guys car, the turbo has so much compressor surge no matter how much I adjusted that thing.

Do as everyone suggests, the dsm bov works great, or if you want a brand new one, a RFL or the tial ripoffs work good too.

 

yeah i had a 1g dsm bov on there... but i want something the sound of the greddy type S without spending that much money... but i want it to perform just as well... any thoughts?

 

what do the knock off tial bov's sound like in fact i don't even know what the tial bov sounds like..

 

Just get get the type s you won't regret it and you can find them pretty cheap used on ebay and HT. I went from a 1g dsm to one and wouldn't go back.
