racial slurs?

BAN.

what the hell are you doing on HMT then? I mean, one of the main purposes of piecing together your own kit is price..

anyways, back on topic..

The sleeves in H23's are fine.. It would be the cast pistons to go first.. the ringlands are usually the first to go. I don't think I have read about even an H22(with their shitty sleeves) cracking/etc, always bearings or ringlands..

anyone know of anyone who has this setup on their h23 or a way to contact them?

lol 6 posts and already running ur mouth
i would watch what u say..btw ur full of ---- if u think u can boost anything over 8lb and be fine i bet u money u crack a sleeve way before u brake any ringlands.. (if its tuned right) as for the cast pistons going first.. ur wrong again.. cause all honda motors come with cast pistons.. i have two boosted cars and i have blown up a lot of the motors in them never have i fucked up a piston just broken rods

haha listen to this guy like he's some bigshot..

I'll say whatever I want that I feel is within reason. Your just like every other nerdass on most forums, always referring to post count as if it represents knowledge ::)

First, learn to spell. Second, don't try and tell me about a car that you don't even own, and I do. I plan on 5-6 psi, and no, ringlands ARE the first to go on h22's and h23's.. I don't care if your other engines did this or that, they arent the same.

Since you will still wanna argue or call BS like most would, here you go..

This is a list from preludeonline.com

HAS BLOWN A MOTOR
1. schwett 6psi, jrsc, jr ems/fmu, toasted lands on all 4 pistons
2. spinNlude 6psi, jrsc, put a piston through the head
3. geramy 6psi, jrsc, blew rings (lands?) (previous owner ran NOS)
4. kaos_prelude_sh 6psi, jrsc, blew ring lands on one piston
5. tmontana 6psi, jrsc, ? (had to smoke a supra, too much timing?)
6. c-redrum 6psi, jrsc, jr ems/fmu, bearing and ring lands.
7. 99Prelude_LC 6psi, jrsc
8. LJR-lude01 6psi, jrsc
9. achemze 10psi, turbo, "bad a/f ratio"
10. quaalude 8psi, turbo, 5 bent exh valves (exacerbated by earlier mis-shift)
11. Turbo Lude SH6psi, turbo, fmu, vfac, blew ring lands on #4
12. silverludesi 7/10psi, turbo, hondata, blew ring lands on #1
13. 00g ?psi, turbo, ?
14. clendaniel 10psi, turbo, ring lands (twice)
15. Blaast 7-9psi, turbo, 8:1 FMU + 550's, 15psi boost spike waves bye-bye to all 4 pistons
16. bradboy 9psi, turbo, ring lands on 3 pistons (jdm h22)
17. kidkutz ?psi, turbo, one ring land
18. trboh22 12psi, turbo, DFI (bad engine buildup)
19. quiklude 8psi, turbo, ringl ands on 2 pistons
20. superlude01 10psi, turbo, ringlands
21. lude4life ?psi, greddy turbo, disconnected wastegate / boost spike
22. y_b_lamron 6psi, turbo, blew a ringland
23. ludespeed2000 ?psi, turbo, ?

I didn't see any problems with bent rods, did you?

NOW, lets get this thread back on topic, if thats ok with you, and quit dragging ---- out and trying to argue about every damn thing.

seriously, i have no personal experience with the set up as i have never owned (nor care to) an h or f, however if anyone has any real knowledge to shed on the subject, please do. other than that, if this cryin/bitchin keeps up, i'm gonna lock this ----, if you don't have anything knowlegeable information or a legit question about the subject at hand, just don't reply to the thread.

...Make your own manifold ::)

I might just drop the whole thing.. H series motors suck for boost and I'm a college student, cant afford for anything to go seriously wrong right now..
