h22/je pistons/eagle rods
how much boost can i push on a jdm h22a block w/ je 9.0:1 pistons and eagle h-beam rods? fuel manangement is uberdata/550cc/255lph pump. i was thinking of running 12psi daily and 15psi at the track but is that a bit high on the stock sleeves?

H22's are once and done detonation motors. It takes very little to snap ringlands. But good fuel management will help you to avoid this problem.
My advise, have some stock pistons laying around and just put a new one in when one goes.

They are just as sensitive as any other honda engine. Cast pistons make them weak. The FRM (fiber re-inforced metal) sleeves are homo and wont work correctly if you put a aftermarket piston in. I say boost the h22 around 10psi perfectly tuned, and have some money in the bank for sleeves/rods/pistons =)
